Lets go everywhere instantly lololol

I like that idea - I know I've mentioned it like 3 times now but seriously, WoW's system.

The flying network:
- must start at a node (not hoping to a node from the middle of no where)
- costs a currency that you have the option of not depleting (gold, while in SE system anima you can just run out and be screwed)
- takes a small amount of time to encourage scale of the world

You can do all of that in SE system too.
The last one would be the weirdest though - I think you may have to create an overworld map (like airships in classic FF and FFXI) and then have your character travel up out of the zone into the overworld and then down out of the overworld into the zone. Could have your character go through zone to zone but the loading screen 3 times in a row might be a bit abrasive.


Currently WoW has a more hardcore (rpg"y") travel system then FFXIV.. lol!

This idea only encourages blood port. So, what's the different between returning to my home point and teleporting from that point and teleporting from the middle of no where? I don't understand this idea...

Oh look, I'm going to kill myself so I can teleport to that crystal I set as hp, so I can teleport to another crystal. DUMB!!!

You can already blood port no difference.

@Pandastirfry ah thanks for the update, I played up to where they started to get crazy with expansions lol
