Well what would you expect a big bulky creature to do as dance? Do you want them to do the robot to cheapen the game?

Did I say that? No. I said that the current dances are unacceptable. Big and bulky as they are, as KiriA has mentioned, they're capable of doing some pretty incredible acrobatics in other parts of the game. They could have a dance that suits them but it should be better than that. I would hardly even qualify that as a dance. It's just an awkward shuffling of the feet.

Again, those are combat maneuvers tied to jobs/classes and shared across all races, requiring a build-up of "energy" (TP) to perform. Or, they have cool-downs, which (in a lore perspective, not gameplay mechanics/balance) would indicate they require more energy at once than any character, regardless of race, is capable of mustering in quick succession.

Emotes are race-specific and are more in line with the culture/personality/physicality of the race itself. Roegadynn are a huge, hulking mass. They're a walking brick-house. They are not going to have the flexibility or "light toes" of a smaller, lighter race. Watching their emotes, they seem to be just about what I would expect from a race of their composition, though I will agree some can use some livening up.

Can SE push the Roeg emotes a bit more? Absolutely, I'm sure they could. I would expect that, whatever SE does, it would still be less "animated" than what you'd see from a Miqo'te or Lalafell, or even a highlander.
