Well not really. Could go something like Archer > Bard > Ranger if needed. Just because classes are generic it doesn't mean they are limited to additional jobs or content.
That makes literally no sense and woudl require 2 job stones since you would have to be on Bard to be on Ranger. Unless you mean, Archer > Bard OR Ranger (but you get Ranger second).
With how the classes are set up in 1.0, multiple jobs per class doesn't work well as you have a majority of the job based on the class. In 2.0? Who knows. Hopefully they'll make it so jobs aren't based so heavily on the abilities from their classes. We're already seeing this with Summoner not having access to everything Arcanist does.
Still not following. They are devs and can rework any aspect of the game if needed. Just how are they limited?
