new melding system. more casual? no thanks!

I'm all for merging materias under a tier, because that crap got ridiculous. Half of a retainer was filled with materia. -.-;
I'm not sure how I feel about it being "easier" to meld, and neither should anyone else until we see the actual changes. Failing dozens of 40%+ melds was bullcrap, but those few awesome triple/quad melds usually made up for it in the end.

You might be confusing relief after major frustration, with actual satisfaction.
