Dude, where's my chocobo?
Well that's a lie I know nothing about this game mechanic after reading that. I sure hope these quests involve cutscenes though! To learn all about this exciting new facet to the FINAL FANTASY XIV world and better prepare for the Grand Company-related content being released in patch 1.17, click here.

Im very excited of how much Content this will have.
But im very happy that this patch has something new and i believe that now the time begins where you really really judge Yoshis work and if you stay with his lead.

Wow I still can't believe that they ninjad in a female Roe for the Chief Admiral artwork. o.o Missing genders might come sooner than expected afterall.

I have to thank Square-Enix for the amazing job they have done recreating Final Fantasy XIV from Scratch. Especially the inclusion of Missing Genders which we petitioned for in good faith. This was proof to us players that the Developers are truly Sympathetic to our requests and that being honest and vocal can pay off with the amazing characters we have who are Female Roegadyn, Male Miqote, and Female Highlanders. Thank You SE, Thank You Community Team, Thank You Yoshi-P.

Well maybe you have to be apart of a company in order to ride a choco :]. That would make sense considering what the choco NPC's currently say to you about there not being enough choco's to hand out to everyone. So maybe they only pick those who are "special" and apart of a company.I feel like they're really hinting at something here. Chocobos are obviously directly involved with Companies and even better- they wear armor! Maybe the quests introduced with today's patch will allow us to start training a Chocobo or something for the coming war. That would be sweet.

The wheels are set in motion
Honestly, I can't say i'm not excited. The art itself has so much promise... Am I the only one that can't wait to see those NPCs in game?

I'm excited in general.
I have so many ideas to what these companies can mean. I'm trying to keep a lid on it and not speculate too much. I'll just have to wait and see.

i can't wait til the patch goes live. i dont want to get overly excited because i do feel like we are only getting a small peak into grand companies. maybe they will open a corridor in each city for them and put the NPCs there so we can talk to them and check out the place. maybe do a couple quests for them. they left a lot to wonder but i think even if grand companies are just NPCs that hand out candy, i'll still be happy lol
