Playing all 3 starting quests

I do agree would be nice to be able to run through the sections of the main scenario that are from the other two cities. its all intertwined. and to fully understand whats going on you need to have access to the bigger picture. heck there are things in some of the class quests that are very much in lockstep with the events of the main scenario. and if that guild happens to be in a town that you are not from well good luck putting all the puzzle pieces into place.

This is very true indeed. I recently finished the rank 36 conjurer quest and it began to talk about how Brother Mory was once a wildling of the forest and since I am from Limsa Lominsa, I have never even heard of this term in the game. But from what I am understanding, there is some explanation about them through the main storyline quest of Gridania. I was pretty confused with all the cutscenes with the wood elementals and the NPCs talked to me afterward like I should have known everything about wildlings and such so they did not explain anything about it really.
