I believe the Carteneau Flats to be Between Gridania, Ishgard, and the Empire. That shrouded bit on the world map.

i would think that there is a good chance that something is now open and we are to ADVENTURE across the land to find it. hologram wall or removal of invisible wall or new path open. I plan to check out all i can. Are the rocks that block entrance to Moonspore Grove still there? probably, but these kinds of things warrant checking. Nothing seems to be happening at the ruins in the north shroud, that was my first area to check.

In truth, our prayers may possess more power than we realize. The sudden appearance of the Twelve’s divine symbols has caused a tremendous stir in recent days. Sharlayan scholars are now asserting that if enough Eorzeans were to entreat the gods at these sites, our combined religious devotion may well move them to act. If these claims are true, then perhaps there is still hope.

To me this seems to suggest that we need X number of adventurers at each site simultaneously to trigger something. Wonder if someone could actually rally their whole server to do that LOL!

When I first saw the most recently The Last Word posted and read it, I logged on to go pray. Luckily my actual deity is Thaliak, the Scholar (as mentioned in the Goodbye, and Good Luck post) I also grabbed my deity's ring we received from Living on a Prayer and had it equip when visiting the site.

I /pray'd in the area AND when selecting the node over 100 times for about 20mins in total (lol I thought maybe I'd spawn Garuda/Ifrit/Titan/Leviathan or something dumb rofl)


Nothing happened in the 20 mins I was here- when I first went I was with a friend who's deity was Halone, no ring worn- I didn't see him /pray while I was there he got there a bit before me. A japanese player ran up when I was /praying and said via google translate "looks as nothing has changed"

This was approximately 4ish hours ago. I'm on Saragantas and to my knowledge no malabro/goblins/elementals/buffalo/chimera's have spawned near Ul'dah, Gridania, or Limsa thus far. ;( **EDIT derp I was playing minecraft when the attack hit the cities /failaga
