    On really fast kills
    - Flash/Provoke -> Divine Veil + Outmaneuver -> Spirit's Within
    then....
Fast Blade -> Cure or Holy Succor -> Flat Blade (yes you can heal between this combo without cancelling it)

Then just have your single White Mage throw Regen and Stoneskin and the occasional light Cure. The rest of the time they can nuke.

This method requires that you dodge 100 Ton Swing and Swipe, and run behind him as well for Glower

    Benefits:
    - 1:30 Minute kills (or less) with your WHM nuking.
    - Using only your Flat Blade Combo and Self Healing, there is not enough animation lock to screw you on dodging, and generates enough steady hate to keep your BLM's going
(May not work for all Paladins. My Flat Blade hits Coincounter for 200+ so over 1k Enmity.)

Actually Cure will interrupt your combo, but Holy Succor wont. It's some weird mechanic they got going.

Any spell that isn't from the actual job will interrupt a combo. Sanguine rite does it on BLM too, which I find incredibly annoying. Major oversight on their part as it has an impact on gameplay.

Really?....I swear....oh maybe not. Well in the heat of the moment, I probably just end up curing after Flat Blade. But yes Holy Succor!!!

This I can see, as it's Magic over Magic vs. Magic over WS. I don't play WHM much, but can you cure between an Aero or Stone Combo?

I got a little curious myself, so I went and tested it this morning, but Cure, Cura, and Curaga all interrupt combos no matter what class/job your on even WHM and CONJ.

after testing on several boss fights, I find holy succor is not only great to use mid combo if its needed but it has the strongest enmity return then any of my other moves, only move that seems to rival its enmity pull is full party rampart.
to answer the op's question tho. 100t swing, when CC is spaming it, can be survived very easly by keeping a few abilities on rotation. i rely heavly on 3 but a 4th can be counted on if done timely. all these abilities need you to pay attention and not waste any on a 10t swing or swipe or 100t swipe, as those 3 abilities can be survived easly without any ability.

on the first 100t i will use ageious boon on the second i will use sentenal, on the third (if either ageious boon or sent is still on cool down I will use shield bash, I have had about a 75%-80% success rate on stuning and interupting CC mid 100t charge. this , if it lands would buy you plent of time for either Ageious boon or sentinal to cool down. in a "oh shit' situation i will start casting stone skin on myself as soon as i see 100t being to charge. probably the safest way to survive that fight is to have your whm with a itchy triger finger on the SS button soo to cast it on you when ever 100t procs. timeing is crucial when relying on SS but if done right its a realy easy way to bypass the issue 100t poses.

    lol STUFOO!! long time brother!

Whats that you say? Divine Veil? what is that? dose it give you a 100% block rate for 20 seconds when proced? no way?!

Lol did you read the OP's post? without throwing gill at an it whats a great way to survive 100t? soo where dose the gil come in?
VIT increases block power, without stacking vit to a reasonable amounts blocking 100t is pointless, asuming he has not gil to stack gear he prolly is sporting a 3500 hp bar at best. a blocked 100t will likely still one shot him and if it dosent it will leave him in a double or single digit hp range. wich means , first hit from CC after 100t will still kill him.

Glad to see your still here, would miss proving you wrong on every debate and watching the developers change stats to make all your stat stacking worthless. Easiest way to survive 100t is stone skin being up when it procs. other then that the other 3 abilities are instant and I often employ to survive 100t.

But to be fair, you are right about devine veil, if your block power is strong enough you can employ that aswell, but i would not recomend counting on it to save your life if your not boasting 350vit and 100ish block on the shield.

Even a garbage kite has 120, which is about 20 block power above that so equal to 40 vit. Are you saying 310 VIT and an NQ kite can survive 100 ton swings? God damn, who will ever reach those remarkable requirements?

Umm, I use a KS+1 with 280 VIT (I don't have HDL body) and Divine Veil saves my life every time. And if I know I'm going to be eating a blow, I'm always casting Holy Succor on myself so that it goes off almost as soon as I get hit.

I still recommend dodging attacks over eating the blow any day. I just save my mitigation abilities for when I screw up.
