Really?! A Japanese thread in the English forums? Maybe many ppl not consider this a mayor bug like others, and for this u can allways play in windowed mode while something is done about this.

You can, if you had a system 25% more powerful than your current one, since that's the hit FFXIV takes when running windowed. Shame that somehow FFXIV takes a massive hit when most other games I've tried running windowed barely take 2%.

And by 'while something is done' you mean "while a new windower gets developed and doesn't get shutdown by SE because they realize it solves a massive problem with the game engine".

Their priorities are ****ing retarded. The beta windower worked great; solved the issue, and was shutdown for reasons unknown. If fullscreen crash is to prevent hacking; DON'T OFFER WINDOW MODE AT ALL. LOGIC? This pisses me off so bad that they have learned NOTHING from the problem with FFXI. NINE YEARS it's been, ****.


Sorry, really, but it suddenly infuriated me at the moment. I still want to rant, but I'm going to lay down instead.
