Just for frame of reference, our DRGs are peaking somewhere around 90-100 DPS at the end of phase 1 (before he goes up for his second Megaflare).
Well our DRGs aren't dying during first phase.. they go all out and they're good ones too.
I (tank) usually avoid the beam after porting and let him run back to the spot i tank him (back against the wall behind where he stands when we pop in) but he just screws us up by porting non stop in phase one.
3 ports back to back is a long time for me (tank) to not pop any abillities or weapon skills thus loosing precious hate to the vicious Dragoons
