The growing entitlement issues of the casuals

Nobody is subjecting you to content you dont want to do, just dont do it, compair HNM's to Ein, Ein was your way around HNM's, the entire event took 30min's 2 times a week.

We would do HNM's + Ein and got stuff faster, though casuals still complained about E.body not dropping from rarabs or something.

And again, pray tell, why should SE focus on creating content that can be enjoyed only by a small minority when the game already lacks content for everyone?

No one here asked for instant "YOU WIN" content. So you may want to avoid minsconstruing and misrepresenting positions that you evidently cannot counter in their original form and content.

There are plenty of unskilled hardcore players, too. More than you think, I can assure you.

You don't have to tell me, I've known plenty. I've known waaay more bad casual players however. The fact is hardcore players are generally really skilled at the game, and the ones that aren't that skilled get better over time because they play so much. I've been friends with a lot of really good casual players also, but I'm not going to act like the majority of the bad players in a game aren't casual.

Casuals don't want easy content... Why do people keep bringing this us as if the casuals themselves even said that. Hardcores also don't want to spend hours standing around bored to death. You and other individuals would like to stand around for hours looking at others enjoy themselves before you get a 1% shot at a piece of gear.

Hardcore vs Casual is not the issue.

Sadly since FXIV will appeal more to the stronger base as someone posted. The ones that want challenging fun content will receive the most appeal by SE.

If we wanted easy gimped content than we would be playing WoW: LK(cata is a lot more challenging)

Why do you think nothing in the game should take more than your 30min's of play time to do, you have access to everything, nobody stopped casuals from doing Ein/Salvage/ZNM's in 11, though few did. HNM's are there, ive seen KB/faf/nid walking around tones of times, some servers like mine had HNM's before i got into it and the major HNM ls's basically destroyed eachother which lead to HNM walking around for years only being killed maby once a month.

The access is there, casuals would simply rather waste time.

This whole thread is just a flame. Let me break it down for you. A rank 50 casual player deserves gear as much as a rank 50 hard core player. Really, just because you spend more time on the game does not entitle you to more benefits, it simply means you have more time to play. This whole thread is just a way of complaining that everyone here is equal and you don't want them to be. A 50 is a 50 is a 50 and they all deserve to get the same gear!

It's an experience many players have. How do you think the stigma got attached to casual players? I certainly didn't spread it around myself. If the majority of bad players were hardcore then they would be the one's with the stigma.

Really, you dont have to say it, every MMO that has ever come out, over time get easier threw nerfs based on the majority (casuals) complaining, even WoW used to be kinda decent for gods sake, look at it now.

Actually... a better example is FF11, abyssea... completely made for casual game play, yet destroyed all that was FF11, so many people quit the game, including casuals that theyve had 2 server merges within months of eachother.
