    Dynamis (originally) had 3 day re-attempt timers. Hamlet does not. your comment is nullified.

    I don't want any events that last more than 2 hours either, honestly.

    You must not be excited about the new dungeons XD. Yoshida did talk about wanting to make events take longer. We will at least be pushing an hour an hour 30. With how Yoshida talked about the dungeon and then a boss I wouldnt doubt longer (though I am just speculating). Since Totorak is already an hour and with the forced level caps you wont be finishing it in 15 mins anymore.
