Yea, cause when I pay monthly for a game I only want like, ya know... 20 minutes top of play time.
I hate everything about this thread. Talks of Dynamis, OP's horrible spelling errors...everything.
Dynamis (originally) had 3 day re-attempt timers. Hamlet does not. your comment is nullified.Just letting you know, Hamlet has worse timers than Dynamis ever did, while you had days cooldown, you had multiple hours to get things done and you actually walk out of dynamis with something, whereas in Hamlet Defense, you can walk away with nothing but lost time lol, you can spam CC and AV and walk out with nothing but junk over and over and over, yet in Dynamis you can walk out with currency toward your relic or armor you needed, especially now with the augmented versions.
This sounds fun as hell to be honest.
I don't want any events that last more than 2 hours either, honestly.
I personally wouldn't mind, I actually liked Dynamis but there are ways it could have been improved.
I would more like them to add a Nyzul Isle like dungeon, 100 floors, and you can save every 5 floors, and random objectives.
The luck/skill/awesomeness made this one of the best dungeons to port over.
I smell flaming posts, angry responses, and broken keyboards just over the horizon.

Idea is its given 6 hours when its opened and then it closes. Players don't choose the time when they enter time wise. So LS group could enter in late with hour left on the clock and find out bosses have been killed and drop rate is increased. Its 24 hour reenter instead of Dynamis 3 day reenter. The idea is toget to the final boss as a community. Kill boss get keyitem. Even if you dont to do that content you could just skip it and teleport and do the raid content thats on the island. Allowing more then 60+ into a dynamis like zone would improve kills and over all drop rate for the masses.
AF2, 2% drop rate
Totems 6% drop rate (10 of them toget a AF2)
Relic Totem 10% drop rate (1 of them toget Relic upgrade) Only drop from special enemies.
This is just the normal drop rate, if you get drop rate increased then everything gets doubled.

i would love dynamisis back but not a open sever type. did anyone do behest back in day, people don't listen. do what they want. people don't get to join cause it's full. it's just a mess, can you imagine the wall in windy dynamisis in something that is open server? 17hours time lock and some douche runs in and agro's the death house every single time and can't be punished or kicked from the event lol.
i will love 5hour events, a few times a week is cool too i won't mind lockouts on really long stuff but really it doesn't need lockouts. if people are willing to spend 5hours a day doing something then all power to them. i remember the days sky first came out was doing it 7days a week and i loved every second of it.
kinda tired of people complaining about the coolest stuff in mmo's sucking cause i can't get the1 kick butt piece i wanted or it's too long, or i'm too slow, stupid or not got enough time to set up something that takes 64people. or i don't want to farm gear every day for the rest of my life...blah blah blah. these are the type of events that keep mmo's alive for longer then 6months and it's why not one mmo has succeeded since.
on side note i never got my rdm hat it was my first class out of 8 75's i had, had tons of full sets but something kept happening that kept me from getting that dang hat, but meh i still loved dynamisis. and though after 4years of doing it, it gets boring as crap ...you don't need to do it even once if not wanted. but at least it was there too do if wanted to join 30-64 mofo's for a good time.
also i always thought a dynamisis that took us into past wars would of been awesome idea. like some of the op's ideas. biggest thing ..there being a dynamisis in the game. i want dkp for stuff like the hat farming, i hate idea of people going in and getting stuff on first try and others spending 30hrs and nothing. and open server stuff would keep this going without those tokens, and even then ..dkp was always better then huge luck. my thoughts.
tldr, dynamisis = good, open server dynamsis = bad, haters of dynamisis = die ..long live ffxi pre abysea and mmo's not full of whinny bishes.
