There should be a way to voluntary remove names. . but not involuntary like when selling stuff or trading.

no placing your name on the item should be the voluntary part. there should be no removal of the name what so ever, that would defeat the whole purpose.

A blacksmith isn't going to waste his time signing every last common foot soldier's blade, a blacksmith will however sign items that mark a Milestone in design or rarity.
