Dev-Question: Signed Items (Crafted items)

Hello guys.
This is Mostly a question for Devs, as i totally want this XI feature inside, so we can actually give ppl signet items by us, so they can save them and always remember who gave it to them!
In XI this method was used by a special craft crystals we could buy at a the guilds, in exchange of gil or points (i think points too), where when we used this crystal to make a synthesis, the synthesis result whould have the player name at the end of the item description. I'd love to see this introduced, so i could give ppl items signed by me and get items signed by friends, so i could save them and actually remember who gave me it, or even save it as a recollection so i whouldnt forget them and remember the fun times we had together at some point (abit dramatic maybe, but i like to remember my old adventures with friends, and that's why FFXI was so special, people whould actually miss other ppl, and share the great memories they had together with some friends, etc).

Who-ever wants this feature, could possibly like this post and also add a comment on it for more ideas of how it should work
I'm sure there are people who will like this and recall how good this was sometimes and pplthat will say its kinda stupid and that they dont care if ppl forget about them or that they ever played.

Definitely in favor of that. It was a neat feature in XI, and was like free advertising for the crafter if you were running around in a signed Haub +1 way back in the day.

Indeed, idk if it will be added tho, there is no information about it :\ maybe if enough ppl want this feature in-game they'll add it, its what i'm trying to do to be honest :< because i want this implemented :3

I'd like to have signature as well, but it should be built-in from the starts. Any item created by someone should have the mention "Created by <Name>".

Definitely want signed items back in this fashion. I mean it worked fine in FFXI but you shouldn't need something special to say this item was made by you. I mean...you created it, isn't that enough xD

Uh, you merely needed crystals you buy from your guild or from wedding NPCs to sign it as there would be no other way to differentiate a normal synthesis with a signed synthesis in XI's crafting system, much like you need catalyst to meld Materia onto gear in XIV.

I would like to have the craftsman name on crafted gear.
If the craftsman get famous it could increase the value of the gear like a brand ^^
