You do know Cry 2's FoV in the console version was tiny right, not to mention half of the time you're looking down the gun's aim sight.
Again you're comparing apples to oranges, two completely different types of games.
Dark soul actually used some pretty good DoF to stay consistently nice looking. No idea who said it lagged but it never dipped for me. Though I have the original ps3 that is like a mothership with ps2 backwards compatibility.
Dark Soul's Havok physic engine was the main reason. Along with the fact the game loaded the map texture further than what was shown. The issue was manly in Blighttown, with it's water physics and high amount of shaders and destructible models.
You do realize I wasn't being serious. I was just highlighting Elexia's entirely unreasonable expectations and her dissatisfaction with everything.
