Are people really complaining about graphics on the PS3?
YOU PEOPLE WILL FIND ANYTHING TO COMPLAIN ABOUT.
Take into account the number of people that will be playing, plus the graphics that go off from actions, spells, etc, and more than that. Did y'all really expect the graphics to be up to the PC version? We are talking about a system that is 7 years old. Think before you type or go troll a different forum.
Let me know when we get more SS's of the PC version...better yet let me know when I get my Alpha key!
To be fair, people complain about even offline titles not living up to the potential of the console. If you release a PSX era game as a new PS3 game...you'll get complaints lol. Like I said, even for an MMO the graphcis as of now still looks fairy mid PS2 era.
Even if they did, ALL OF YOU said it's not the graphics but the gameplay that make or break a game. Decide on what y'all want please?
It looks good enough, could have been much worse. It's the best looking MMO on PS3 by far not that DC Universe or Free Realms take much beating.
on various gaming websites, the ps3 user base think it looks awesome and they cant wait to play.
New UI looks horrible imo. All the silly gradients and glows... it's overkill—late 90s/early 2k all over again.
You either never had a PS2, need very thick glasses, or you're simply being overly negative for the sake of being overly negative (which is the most probable option).
There's no room for opinion here. No PS2 game ever looked like that. It actually looks better than most MMORPGs on PC.
END of PS2 era (and FFXII was critically acclaimed as one of the best looking PS2 games ever):
FFXIV ARR:
If you can't see the enormous difference, nothing of what you say holds any credibility.
You're seriously getting predictable.
