to access the hotbar you need to press(or maybe hold) L2/R2Logistically speaking, (for a gamepad user) how are you going to switch targets mid combat and select actions with any amount of speed? As it is now, in combat you have to cancel your action bar selection with O, press <- or ->, and then hit X to have your bar pop up for action selection. How are we supposed to switch targets when the D pad and the four main buttons are all default to actions (I'm assuming only in combat when you have your action bar displayed)? Is cancel going to be one of the bumpers? Or am I wrong in thinking that X, O, square and triangle have actions bound to them?
select your target > press L2/R2 + action button
pretend L2/R2 is the "aim" button
thats what I understand anyway

The player has just pressed R2+X button. Pressing L2+Right would use a potion. L2+Up is sprint. L2+Triangle activates Eagle Eye Shot. This is action bar 1 (of 8) which is selected when L2+R2+Up is pressed.

I'm sure action bar 1 is L2+R2+Triangle.
In the gamepad configuration the Triangle button is button 1
Targeting should still work with the D pad, without pressing L2 or R2.Logistically speaking, (for a gamepad user) how are you going to switch targets mid combat and select actions with any amount of speed? XIV's graphics are by far the best out there for an MMO..
You can tell what fabric your clothes are made of if you look close... u can see fibers and shit..
Enviorment, weather, wall textures, plantage, mobs' details, armor glow, realistic movement, shadows, cutscenes....
Where else have you guys seen better than this game's graphics. its an MMO ffs..... chill people.
I fu**** love this game's graphics. and i dun even play ALL max!
LOL!
LOL! LOL!!
LOL! LOL!! LOL!!!
Antony...... learn the difference between aesthetics and graphics.
Aion doesn't have high polygon count models, high res textures or use advanced shaders.
So your personal taste might lean toward Aions art direction, that doesn't mean it's graphics are better, which they are not.
Since you shared your opinion I'll share mine. Aions graphics are low res garbage, I happen to like FFXIV's art direction and will take it over Aions any day.
