The UI is acceptable. For a console.

PS3 Combat UI looks like the largest leep forward in MMO UI in a very long time. I hate to bust the worlds bubble, but WoWs UI is not that good. Your just used to it. I can pretty much guarentee that Holding R2 and Pressing Up, X, Left, O is going to be a whole lot more intuitive than mousing around clicking as fast as possible.
Dunno how that menu UI is going to work though.

The ps3 is nearly 6 years old (released in November 2006, it's October 2012), and it's graphic limitation is due to non upgradable hardware, which's highest DX is DX9 (Direct X). Those screen shots might not even be the finalized product...
Since they are looking into the increase of graphics for the PC after launch, there is the possibility that when the PS4 comes out they might be able to increase THOSE graphics, considering the PS4 will use DX11/DX12. I do not speak for SE, but there is the possibility.Originally Posted by Letter from the Producer Live part III:[url

A: I’m pretty sure I answered this question at one of the previous interviews. At launch, the graphics engine won’t be compatible with DX11. We’re going to need time to make this happen with the new engine. However, there are plans to implement DX11 compatibility after the launch of ARR.
After launch, our next big milestone is DX11 compatibility. Once we achieve this, there will be a further improvement in graphics. Technical Director Hashimoto was recently talking to me about whether it's possible to further increase graphics quality on the PC version, so we need to decide how ambitious we want to be.
Legend tells of a legendary warrior whose kung fu skills were the stuff of legend. He was so deadly, in fact, that his enemies would go blind from over-exposure to pure awesomeness!

SE isn't stupid. If this game actually makes the come back they are hoping for, it will be on PS4. Might even go to Wii U. Prolly not gonna be on Xbox though. Biggest mistake they made with XI was not giving it native support on the PS3.
Well, I mean, there was Abseaya.. But we dont talk about that.
