Devs: What will happen to Castrum Novum?

Dear Devs/Community reps,

Our linkshell is trying to plan what we will be accomplishing over these next few weeks before the servers go down and one of the items on our list is to get imperial operative dalmaticas for our white mages. I would like some clarification as to what will happen to castrum novum and the dalmatica after 1.0 goes down. Will Castrum remain and the dalmatica will still be obtainable, or is this another item to be put in the category of the raven earring that will be gone after 2.0 launches.

Thanks for any info that you can provide, would like to get an answer asap as time remaining in game is limited!

If you recall the story, unless they add in some contradictions CN will most likely be abandoned considering it fulfilled it's purpose.

Yes, things relating to Dalamund will be gone (in way of achievments and quests), but that doesnt mean the item itself must go. Like primals will be refitted to the story and primal weapons WILL be in 2.0 [ rep confirmed information ].

Good question on that dalmatica though XD.

Rep/Dev we need our unobtainable item list! XD time is counting down, I'll be pretty pissed if we get this list november first... At least make a WIP list with items known for sure to be gone, and add to it as you know more >.>

Mostly because the primals are going to be part of the beastmen storyline.
But the White Raven is already dead in ARR

Have you played FF(s)? Bosses dont die, they super power themselves at least 3 times, I count 2 for Nael only.

Have you played this game? He's dead. Gone. Completely destroyed. He's not a recurring boss and if this game pulls an Advent Children, I will personally go to Square Enix headquarters with a miniature nuke launcher.

Prep that nuke, there is concept art somewhere around here of a big ass four legged monster that looks strangely similar to Nael Van/Deus Darnus.

(And yeah I've killed Nael in this game :P). But a boss exploding/falling/spiriting away has no proof that he is dead as previous FF games have proven lol. (wasnt even thinking of advent children, but that too)

Hes not dead, he vanished to Dalamud, remember? maybe he'll come back as Ultima weapon see some of the art they released for 2.0, theres a big four legged NM with the head similar to the raven's helmet...
