relic quest change in ARR?

Well its really 17m speed runs are just really plain stupid. You actually do stuff on 25m 5 chest runs, but race to the finish so the one treasure chest at the end will have something in it is a really dumb way to go about it. Even though you only have to do each 3 times and DH once, its really not fun. Its like something to do if you have absolutely nothing else to do pretty much. Glad speed runs for items is going away in ARR, maybe relic quest will be a little more funner then.

I dun like speed runs generally but really all u need is a group of people that are all doing it together everyday (and are not complete retards who will do the same mistake in every run).
We cleared sub 17 min AV in like 4 days but we where same group everyday.
Sub 17 CC was a pain cause group wasnt same everyday....
So all u need is a "static" Hard content becomse just fine if u have a static!
So maybe instead of being a LS hopper you should invest in a long term relationship with a good few...

P.S -I will agree with Raikki though. -17 min runs in CC/AV ARE! a valid meassurement of your skill tbh dudes. so go on and get them done and feel better about yourself.

I wasn't touching on the difficuly of the runs, but the enjoyment level.

Oh and i will say again, you can do any of these things in a random as long as everyone knows their role and where to move. My first garuda kill was in a random after 2 tries with them, even tho all I even hear is you need a static for it. All untrue. Some people just feel more comfortable running with the same people all the time. I'm not limited to that. or they could be one of the people talked about in http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...get-along-with ... find the few people you can actually get along with, make a LS/static...
