Because people forget to turn repairs off and funny guys repair everything with 99% durability

it has nothing to do with being funny. it's the way the repair menu is setup for repairs is repair all. i select repair all and am not wasting my time to go through each piece for 500 gil. if you don't want it repaired then don't have it up with the repair flag open. this isn't taking into account i don't know if someone is wanting 100% repairs on everything to sell in the wards or not.

if it's at 99% and you don't want it repaired then don't put it up for them..... pretty simple.

Because the game allows people to set up item for repairs when they don't have the matter.

Actually, the game will tell you when you don't have the necessary DM and gil to proceed with repairs. While it will let you set up the flag it gives you a nice, obvious warning which clearly people choose to ignore.

So we can't blame the game here.

Why do people who think everything is bad about certain current systems continue to play the game? Answer that question.

They go hand in hand, 1 side will "defend every deficiency", while the other side will hate on it but continue to play. So answer one you get the answer to the other.

I'm just going to give the benifit of the doubt here.

In case you were not aware this particular issue is already on the dev laundry list of 'shit we gotta fix with 2.0'. A while back one of the reps. Rurikki if i am not mistaken stated that the devs did want to add a repair threshold Ie any gear above a certain percentage of durability would not be flagged for repair. How ever there unable to do so with the current client as it is a giant flaming pos.

I will agree that it's a bugbear to deal with most of the time. It's just one we have to deal with as this client has less then a month of life left in it and development for it has stopped.
