it's not really the hard way, but also remember is you level 1 class with leves then you have to wait on the level to build back up so it's either grind in between or you're just at a standstill on leveling.

They should give us the Shepherd DoL class to get fleece from.

I guess it depends how fast you need to level it. I was quite happy to take my time with my remaining four classes.

Local leves are good from the moment you can pick up 30s, whoever said 45+ is wrong. Although maybe random levelling is better now since the massive boost to crafting EXP a few months ago.

I seem to get lots of 40~45 BSM leves (I've yet to see a single 50 pop up) but can never get more than a single 40 for ARM in LL - the hell is up with that?

I'm hoping they adjust that in ARR, as it's really annoying going to the counter and there just aren't enough (if any) leves available for the level range you're in.

Your ARM is 36 and with that 40 is the highest you can get. Use 35 leves with your 40 leve.
And you don't see 50 leve for your BSM because your BSM is only 42

I don't think fishes to sand or crystals are dated recipes, mooglebox concurs, so those shouldn't be removed. Leves are good for leveling but not a practical way to get your luminary tools.

^^ That was my original point/query about the OP.
And for the record, I leveled CUL on actual food to be sold in wards. Leveling ALC (lvl 35 atm) on fish->crystals.

yeah, with the exp bonuses and scrolls and resting bonus you can get easily over 2k per synth now and i have seen as high as 5300exp on a single synth. granted, that 5300 was on a r54 synth and i'm a r50 crafter, but i wanted to see the highest sp i could get.

It's 38 actually, the sig is slow to update.

Huh, coulda sworn they were. Well, that's good to know.

But, on the flipside, they're changing fishing entirely in ARR so we'll have to see how that works out. Woolen Yarn however is dated - which again is silly because the recipes that use it for gear aren't... so it doesn't make any sense to keep those recipes when it's literally impossible to make 1 of the materials needed!
