My point has absolutely nothing to do with whether things are easy or hard. It has to do with equality between classes, and the pointlessness of treating some of them like they're "advanced" when they really aren't.
You never played FFXI I'm guessing? Might be where your disconnect may be coming from. "Advanced" classes simply mean they're not basic already unlocked classes, they're something you have work toward.
Also no, jobs =/= advanced classes, they're an extension of it's base class, an advanced class is something you could only use after doing a quest. Given the way this game works, the only way that would be possible is to lock out crafted weapons to level 5+ and you can only get the 'weathered' weapon through the quest.

I played plenty of FFXI back in the day. I also unlocked all the jobs while I was playing. Advanced classes is an awful terminology to use if you're not trying to imply that the class is advanced. I mean, c'mon now.You never played FFXI I'm guessing? Might be where your disconnect may be coming from. And Yoshi may not want us to think of jobs as advanced, and rather equal to classes, but y'know, they really are, at least with how the armoury system works out to right now. So yeah, Jobs are pretty much the advanced versions of classes for all intents and purposes with the current system.
