november -> closed beta test

its obviously not possible in that time.

it'll be more like that:

october -> alpha
november/december/january -> closed beta
january -> open beta
feburary/march -> release


and the roadmap shows also that it will most likely be 2013 and not 2012:

looking at the roadmap (that you showed) things are on time, and it will most likely be out by the end of december, thanks for showing me, had forgotten it

oh, and it wont ever be an open beta, when the beta is outm the game is as good as done is what they have said, only thing left then is tweaking. So if closed beta and release is from start of november to start of january, that means the game is out before 2013, following their original plans. (And yes, they are rushing to get things done in time, many things wont be out before march, so expect some bugs, but fewer than legacy)

post january means AFTER january..

and as i said.. you cant do just 1 month alpha and 1 month closed beta and release the game afterwards.. thats not possible.. beta needs more than 1 month for a game... and the CBT is followed by an open beta also.

at least it takes 3-4 months for Alpha, CBT and OBT. minimum

and they'll do better with it to take time. of course i cant wait myself.. but better they use more time than releasing it with bugs etc. again. that would be the second fail otherwise

"Free Trial" is the beta test. "Trial" is an awful term to describe it, as it implies the beta is a demo for us to try, not a testing phase.
