So let me get a this straight... basically an addon that plays the game for you? Not really interested in that kind of thing >_>
Absolute Virtue and Pandemonium Warden, while not impossible, were ridiculous fights that defied all common combat logic in FFXI. People for months tried to think of ways to kill AV without cheesing him (Ebon Panels.... wait, can we throw the ebon panels at it?!?!?!). SE later released a cryptic video that really didn't explain that a Player using a 2hr would lock the mobs 2hr (a behavior that occurs NOWHERE ELSE in combat, go Tanaka!). Sadly I left before Pandemonium Warden came out, but yeah, he was silly too. There's a difference between an impossible fight though (Cthun pre "nerf" patch) and one that requires you to do some mental calculus to figure out (AV... maybe if we started singing kumbaya, he'll shower us with loot!).
Also <3 the photo.
And no. An addon like DBM will tell you when you're standing in fire (huge audio and visual clues, helpful for lower end comps that can't run full effects), when you're standing too close to another player (eyeballing 15 yard distances from other players when there's a boss move that will chain damage from players that are too close), or when a certain high priority add pops (that must be killed asap. Think the guard for princess in CC) that needs to be burned down.
The addon won't automate your gameplay, you'll still have to manually do all the stuff. However, it'll make certain things in combat, such as warnings/spawns/abilities, much more apparent and help you stay focused.
WE...NEED... MORE... AVs... IN... FINAL FANTASY!
Absolutely not Virtually impossible to beat, AV wasn't intended to be a beatable monster. How do you destroy a "Destroyer" of the world?
Anti-3rd party tool NMs... Go Tanaka!!

its an addon that helps people do a boss because I know you nay sayers are the ones who probably suck up raids and dungeons which make them last more then 40 minutes... I'm for it because you could set it up pretty well so even older gamers and people who find it hard to do content don't have to remember every little detail about every little fight... the thing about people who only play FFXI and FFXIV is that they are mostly closed minded to anything "WoW" or any other concept in an MMO so when you try to commit to a change they start crying because they are afraid of it o_o
seriously stop QQing if it makes MY LIFE easier for not having to put up with fail groups then its a god damned good thing...
"Thy life is a river to bear rapture and sorrow
To listen to suffer to entrust until tomorrow
In one fleeting moment, from the land doth life flow
Yet in one fleeting moment for the new leaf doth grow"
Ill take anything better than chat/battle log....
I hope the add on is aesthetically good

* The sad thing is that FFXIV turned RDM into a turret, and people think that's what it's supposed to be. It's supposed to combine sword and magic into something more, not spend the bulk of gameplay spamming spells and jump into melee for only 3 GCDs before scurrying back to the back line like good little casters.
* Design ideas:
Red Mage - COMPLETE (https://tinyurl.com/y6tsbnjh), Chemist - Second Pass (https://tinyurl.com/ssuog88), Thief - First Pass (https://tinyurl.com/vdjpkoa), Rune Fencer - First Pass (https://tinyurl.com/y3fomdp2)
The more information I have, the better. I recall switching walls off back in FFXI. Made Nyzul Isle much more enjoyable. Some may call this cheating, but if it makes me a better player, so be it.
