SE doesn't make their trailers therefore they aren't wasting any time.

Advertising is good for New games, but for a game that failed in the eyes of the consumer, its kinda hard to persuade those deceived eyes.
Advertising is good for MMORPGs in general, this is the main reason WoW is popular because you couldn't look at any website without seeing it advertised.
