back when 1.23 came out this track came out that nobody had heard before (and to my knowledge its not in game yet)

to me and im sure a lot of others, it sounds like zone music of a desolate/destroyed area (or perhaps ON dalamud)

but one thing caught my attention while listening to the "song"


the singing/ ive heard it in the story cutscenes but most notably in this trailer for FFXIV

seeing how they used that song at the beginning of our adventure of the current version, it would only be fitting to end with it

so will SE show us another side of Eorzea that we havent seen yet before dalamud crashes into the ground, or maybe we will get up close and personal with the big red moon.

I'm listening to that track and it certainly sounds like you are right. However the development resources that would have gone into making destroyed and desolate maps for us to wander around in for the 11 days past the last save seems almost prohibitive of the concept. I guess we'll see.

Has a creepy deadly shadowy vibe to it. Sounds like end of days to me. Be cool if they play it for the final days when saving stops.

I think 'parts' might be used in a cinematic but as Griss stated sounds more like a live event that would loop, don't see why they would waste 11mins of sound production to have it only play in a cinematic that players could possibly 'skip' through (although those most recent CSs couldn't be skipped so perhaps it will be)

Either way looking forward to seing it in game at some point before the world ends!
