But they already know they hate 2.0, so there's no reason to stick around.
I almost wish they would go back to the style of animation and graphics they had in FFIX. I prefer the super deformed characters to the realistic looking ones since i grew up playing the earlier FF games. dont know if that would be good for an MMO but i would really like them to make FFXV in that style. just wanted to put out that realism and superb graphics arent necessarily a "tradition" in SE's development process. FFI - FFVI were prided on their storytelling and innovative gameplay and battle system. That is what the FF series means to me. you want realistic graphics, thats the Gran Tourismo series.
Then they should stop realistic cut scenes (cs) then, there is a huge disconnect when the CS is one way and the game is another. Obviously I know you cant have the exact same details as one is live motion and the other is prerecorded - but dont create a disconnect.I almost wish they would go back to the style of animation and graphics they had in FFIX. I would have to agree. i hate when the cut scene is uber awesome lookin that does not act like it ever could in the game and then you go back to gameplay. I have a huge respect for games like MGS and AC that have a continuity in their gameplay graphics and carry that into their storyline development screens.

MMOs are a different beast in that nature, unless of course we go the single player route of an mmorpg, which would be kinda weird xD.
I just wish people would stop voicing their concerns in a chicken little-ish manner.
The sky is falling with every clip we're shown and news we hear.
I understand people have the right to voice their opinion as loudly as they want, but others also have the right to point out how absurd the complaining gets from time to time.
Indeed, but voicing their opinion that they don't want to hear others opinions on a forum designed for opinons is the most absurd of any ideas going on here. I like hearing about making FFXIV more like WoW then hearing that (and I dont like WoW >.>).I just wish people would stop voicing their concerns in a chicken little-ish manner.

(Voicing and flaming an opinion are different - of course)
And people have the right to complain about complaints about complaining. And so on into infinity.I just wish people would stop voicing their concerns in a chicken little-ish manner.

I don't think anyone ever said that the game was doomed to failure because of the grass (there was actually like two legitimate threads in that mess, the rest where hooking onto a cheap gag.), the animation, or the fact that it's currently structured around the atypical standard. Some of us are just disappointed in what we're seeing and people think we hate the game for it. Just because people like Rokien point possible out issues a lot doesn't mean they hope for the games failure, or even expect it. They want square to realize the problems and tend to them to be sure the game is not only a success, but a truly stellar game in terms of quality, presentation, and originality.
I agree, to an extent. But there is a difference between being genuinely concerned about a system and bashing on a system simply because you personally don't think it's best. And people have the right to complain about complaints about complaining. And so on into infinity.

For example:
Certain people who will not be named want the Stamina Bar back. That's fine. They're entitled to their desire for whatever they want. But then they go on to say how the current system is lacking, or poor, or sucks simply because it isn't the stamina system they want.
People are injecting horribly biased opinions into their suggestions and "concerns" that distort the issue they are trying to present.
