    Your opinion, but as has been pointed out pre-alpha/alpha/closed beta never look as expertly done as final product. All gamers should know this by know... If you do not and some others do not, then you need to pay attention to more gaming news and look up a lot more alpha to released gaming videos screenshots and info. They are never the same unless the deve's just carried about pushing the same game with different skins every 2 weeks which is not the case here in FFXIV. Also to state that none of those images are rendered with in game engine footage you are fooling yourself as well. Because take a CG image to that second image, they are drastically different as well, so To say that it is CG video graphics is just silly.

    Like I said you are not helping yourself look logical, stop while you are "ahead" before you make yourself look less reliable for an opinion on this subject. Or do a reboot and start from square one again, because your current responses are not doing well.

    The real problem is unlike many other MMOs out there, XIV ARR has the certain position of having an already made version out there, so people are expecting a lot rightfully so.

    All those Photos are Gameplay.... Limit Break Trailer= Gameplay showing off Limit Break.. you really think that's CGI? -.-

    Also, Like I said and others have said: It has been confirmed that TGS 2012 Trailer is indeed using "Old" I repeat "Old" assets. So if they are using Old Assets now... What are they using for the other Gameplay trailers? Certainly not Old.

    btw Everything before that is how I described it on the thread I made but I'll C/P so I won't waist my time:

    If you compare these photos to the one above, you will notice that these are more of a Vibrant type of feel to them, The Faces of the Characters look more smoother like they actually shaved lol hehe, The Big Television Screen Picture, Looks more clear Shadows looks more in-depth then 1.0. Weapon skills effects look pretty, etc.
    TGS 2012 is indeed "Old" Material so really, you shouldn't be looking at that as updated information, other than seeing the New areas in poor Quality.

    Everything else before that is New. Yes I know it sounds "weird" but thats what is confirmed by Yoshi-P himself.

    It's like a D3 comparison, they already had 2 before it that did very well how it was made. They made a new engine built D3 up from the bottom, and it was pretty different but relatively the same, people complained the hell out of it. Or any other game that has a sequel and people think well the first did very well and they can do the same thing. Sure if it was the same engine used the previous time. But most times the sequel (excluding FPS's here) use a different engine "to improve performance and appearance" most times things change because they have to code everything differently onto a new engine. The same is done here, they can't just copy paste the code from Crystal Tools to Modified Luminous Engine. Because they operate differently. Therefore, they might take some different directions in development because They want to see what they can do with the new engine that they couldn't with the old.

    I guess this also explains why the TGS trailer looks like more cartoonish than the other videos.

    I know... I saw that... and I even posted that Yesterday on one of the threads lol, The games graphics will still be changed/optimized till open beta is closed. This much is fact no matter how many people say otherwise.
