    I'm not even playing it but I know it had amazing sales at launch.

    Anyway I hope they don't commit to a specific release date because you are demanding it but instead they should get it done this time before anyone gets to play it for reviews.

    anyhow i don't really think GW2 will fail, or get "forgotten", but isn't nearly as good as they said it would be.

    As did every new MMO the past few years, they all tapered off because it's just impossible to please everyone. SWTORs problems mostly fell into the fact it was a glorified multiplayer (if that) KOTOR and not so much an MMO for example. GW2 will likely taper off to Rift levels, rather than be completely forgotten it'll still be there with a stable playerbase but it is arenanet we're talking about. Once the honeymoon period is over we'll see what happens.
