I dont get all of this, but I dont know why we deserve so many head start chances - we already get to make one naturally why the opportunity to really smash those new 2.0 players into the ground?
truth be told this wasnt really a solution, the people that new about this the first 48 hours made out like bandits now they are reaping the benefits. The only thing this does is stops other players from having the same advantage those guys had.. not really a fix just an "oh crap what do we do?" moment from SE
Exactly. They should be brave enough to reset gil gains - that is if they have the tools to do it. Which they probably dont.. without a total roll back which would be even more crappy loltruth be told this wasnt really a solution, the people that new about this the first 48 hours made out like bandits now they are reaping the benefits. Aren't they planing to make some "new" servers where old players cannot transfer to? for those new players that want to be part of a brand new game/economy?
I think I read this somewhere, just no idea if it has been confirmed
I know what you are saying, and i agree it never should have happened and it wasn't good for me, but hell if a big gil number makes people get better gear (which it has) then i can forgive it
*edit meant to quote OP response to me
You are correct~ New players may transfer to a new player only server and frankly it's probably recommended they do that. Because SE isn't making it easy for us to come together easily. Though I really want fresh blood () into my server, we need a revive.
Or maybe if you poor 1.0 players can play on the 2.0 newbie servers![]()

Well then I guess new players can decide if they go to a server where there is already some rich people and set economy and prices for everything.
Or a brand new server :P
I am sure we will get new players in our servers, I know a lot of people that get the game on 2.0, and of course join my server to play with me, so I am sure there is a lot more cases like this![]()
how many people do you think will screenshot all of the price histories of the items they are interested in so they won't forget what stuff was priced at when the game went down 5 months prior to restarting?
I just hope they test events in the future before going live, perhaps a PTR
