They already made a solution. Also, rolling back on dawn drop sales and giving back the seals isn't that easy.

Maybe not easy but into ARR we will have a wave of inflation - new players will have to deal with.
I don't think any kind of rollback is warranted. If they really wanted to put a stop to the gil making, they could have done so the first day. They expected some people would make money off this, they just didn't think so many would do it and would gain as much as they did.
I spend the majority of my time playing the market in MMOs so I've seen things like this come and go. Inevitably, the wealthy players stay wealthy because they know how to make money the legitimate way and are very efficient at it. Not only this, but they spend wisely.
On the flip side, players who generally have no money in MMOs will blow through whatever money they made almost overnight and will be right back where they started except now they have a few overpriced pieces of gear on them.
I can pretty much guarantee you that everything is going to go right back to normal within a week, maybe two tops.
They have a bad track record of messing up something in game and letting players abuse it. If something is messed up you fix it and rectify who took advantage of the anomaly. They need to learn how to fix things, not roll around in the mud. Like easy peezy garuda weapons that took them way too long to fix.
And saying they only expected some to do well and not others is kind of ridiculous.

No that's not what I mean. I'm just saying that the level of atomos farming that actually happened wasn't exactly what they had initially expected. But they did expect it to happen. I mean, the only way for it not to happen would be to not have the grand companies sell items for seals that you can then NPC.
Honestly that's the way it should be anyway. All of those grand company items should be un-NPC-able. That's the real fix here because just rolling back the atomos gains doesn't fix the problem if people can still farm seals and convert it into cash.
People have been doing this long before the atomos event. It is extremely easy to harvest a bunch of raw mats and turn them in for seals.

Yeah the maintence I belive is turning them into really crappy sells. Its the fix that should have happened on day one.No that's not what I mean. I'm cool with massive amounts of seals. Not cool at all with massive amounts of new gil being generated. (The gil is really easy to make, if you look RMT's are hanging out in halls changing over into dawn drops no doubt)

I hadn't seen any RMT in my company hall on Gungnir. I assumed they had more efficient ways to make gil.Yeah the maintence I belive is turning them into really crappy sells. Its the fix that should have happened on day one.

Limsa hall when I go in is packed. The Uldah hall was for a little while but I think they moved out because thats the one normal people go to.
Usually they are doing leve's but if you get each one up with a bot buying/selling crystals you would make a lot more money then in leve's.
