the game was out in japan for 6mnths - a year before any other ppl got it. So they had time to hunt them with limited competition. You're getting more siller with each post.
Facts are facts.
It's pretty obvious you don't play the game already.
And you would quit just because there is something you can't do without trying? That's really sad.
Because they can't play the game until they finish their homework, NO ONE CAN.
LOL. WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT??? Everyone has access. You just go to it.
YOU are the one being SELFISH for wanting EVERYONE to be FORCED down to your level of not even playing!
Think about the average amount of time a person spends logged onto the game without being idle. How long do you suppose it is? 4 hours? 6 hours?
Why make the repop 24 hours, when it would be just as effective from a competitive standpoint to have the mobs repop in 8 hours or 10 hours?
I enjoyed the HNM/NM system FFXI had. The borderline ridiculous pop conditions kept items fresh. Not that it was the best item in the game but a good example was the Surroco Kukri (sp?)...The wind dagger off the birdy in the zone outside of adamantoise/aspidechelone. Sure it took time but once you learn the windows you can sit there, wait for the window, and if it doesnt pop AFK. The triumph of getting an item like this felt like you won the whole world. Thats what made it special. I dont see how making everything so easy to get makes it "fun" for anyone, hardcore (alot of playtime) or not. Thats my opinion...but Im sure I will get flamed for it because FFXIV's community is becoming disturbingly more and more like WoW's...good day.
I guess because some want to feel l337 for living in a basement 24/7Think about the average amount of time a person spends logged onto the game without being idle. How long do you suppose it is? 4 hours? 6 hours?

your sad getr over youself stop being a mofo troll. no one but scar is really aggreeing with you. That don't mean they want a hello kitty or free realms. That also don;t mean , that they don't play ffxiv already or haven't played ffxi.
if ffxi and its 24 pop nms was so great why the &*()&* heck does WoW have 12mil subs and PWI supposedly have 50mil subs.... while ffxi had been bleeding subs slowly since WoW launched riddle me that....
This is true. The thing with 21-24 hour NMs special was the fact it was easy to track their ToD (time of death) and show up the next day. If it was something like a 9 to 12 hour NM and you weren't there every 12 hours to see it killed then you would have no idea when to go back.
Making it even worse for people who have less time to invest.
FFXI had about the same 500k sub it had since the game settled until the level cap increase. You don't even know what you're talking about.
Also, WHO CARES HOW MUCH MONEY A GAME MAKES?
Pizza Hut makes more money then the family owned pizza shop down the street. Does that mean Pizza Hut is better? No! It's opinion.
And your opinion is you should be able to do everything in the game with -100 effort of what was needed in XI.
Casual gamers have their place but the people who actually play should not have to degrade themselves.
All the new NMs before this patch are less of an NM than Leaping Lizzy.
This is so generic. If someone plays the game more than you, they're going to be better. That is the point of playing online. It's not FFXIV Communist simulation where if you play 3 hours every weekend or 12 hours everyday you get the same reward.

I don't mind when people get gear over me, I am happy for them. What I don't want is it to be easy, that is all I am saying. Easy nms = easy gear to get = everyone has it = boring game. DO you get it? wait.. NO ONE CAN.
