think your missing the point.never said i agree with the current game direction, just saying we can complain all we want , the fact of who they are catering to wont change and that includes 24h nm timers.anyways /away!There used to be a similar argument in ff11 about needing less people to do events.
Something like a party of 6 should be able to do anything, simply make things weaker so a party of 6 can kill it but still be hard. The problem is, if 6 people can kill something, its not hard, even if its hard for you, it took almost no cooperation with others and most likely very little strategy. Something that would take 18 people and still be hard is many many times more difficult.
You only having 5 friends shouldnt be my problem either.
how does needing a long pop timer or a certain number of people make a boss harder? There used to be a similar argument in ff11 about needing less people to do events.

it don't.
This is the kicker everyone.
Visch makes a thread for who wants 24 nm, most of us say no. And all he does is insult us assuming we want a hello kitty mmo. And everytime people feed him facts he shoots them down
Visch what server did you play on ffxi and what was your characters name and 6 highest jobs? And name the hnmls you was in with website and proof of character.![]()
It seems that everyone always wants what they're used to; no one likes change at all.
This is Final Fantasy 14, not 11.
Get over it.
LOL @ people thinking that this game won't be 95% casual. That's where the money is at, and that's the direction this game will be headed. JPs want casual, NAs want casual... SE will deliver it. Fine by me though, bring on casual gaming!

SE, hear me now, if this game becomes purely casual gaming I will spontaneously com-bust. >:T

its not about the last post, its about the whole thread.

HNM camp players are a unique ilk, that's for sure. Used to be one, they have a very warped sense of what is entertainment. They have more fun knowing who loses than winning anything. Should go back to 2002 where they belong IMO.
The more "important" a NM is the more likely it should be difficult and the more likely it should be instanced or pop-spawned.
Let everyone try to fight it. Let those who can beat it get the drops.
They should not make the primary mode of entertainment standing there like an idiot waiting, vokebotting, and countercamping.
The game came out in the US in 2003 by the way. Go back to crying about easter events and getting posts removed.
You have anger issues about easter events.
