Considering it was SE's decision to do something about it rather than listening to people about others making gil, yeah you're basically railing on SE for making a smart move regarding the gil flowing in.

I'm sure you've already worn the event out and made millions of gil, no need to be pissy about them controlling the event that wasn't designed for making "casual players billions of gil" in the first place honestly.

Just a hint, since you have a level50 Class, go and farm. You just need a hour to get a good amount of hides. farm some hides you will get 300-700k a Stack, so if you are not willing to spend a hour up to 2 to farm a little bit, then you shouldnt complain at all.

Making gil isn't the issue. The issue is they're nerfing a perfectly good way to make money equivalent to cruor and dom op points in XI. What's wrong with making gil from an event. So what if that isn't the reason for the event. Farming is all luck based, atleat with atomos your time isnt completely wasted TRYING to make gil. Yea, I can go farm, I've farmed plenty of times before this event and haven't gotten near the amount of gil for a stack of hides as you've mentioned. You're economy on Masamune must really be fucked up.

You're telling me the points you spent on those things you sold to NPCs and made exorbitant amounts of money?

It's one thing to sell the items you bought on the AH/Bazaar because it's circulating money around. This is just generating money out of thin air basically and it's going nowhere, causing inflation across the board. While our gil may be being reduced by 90%, it's still going to make the people that took advantage of this that much richer in 2.0. It has to be dealt with.

This event wasn't about making gil...that's why they're changing it. I mean shit, on Sara you can farm diremite webs and yarzon legs and make gil to sustain yourself you're really hurt.

Doesn't matter if that's what it was for or not. It was used for it. And now some people have millions of gil that wouldn't otherwise and it's making a huge disadvantage to players that didn't get to use this method.

You're basically saying "Hey, it's not my fault you had to work and didn't have time to exploit the event. Next time you should lose your job to make gil exploiting the event like everyone else, that way you're not at a disadvantage next time."
