I have to say that if I were an outsider to XIV I wouldn't be excited about this trailer for those reasons.
As a XIV enthusiast it still makes me cringe a bit because of those non-forest areas look the way they do and even as a player I don't avtually see any visible changes to the battle system aside from that now-milked overdrive.

It's cool but not news headlines cool or preorder day 1 buy-cool.
Also pr time is running out. XIII games were promoted for almost a year but XIV has few months to release.

I'm not expecting 2.0 when it first comes out be anything much different than what 1.0 is now. Outside of maybe raising chocos and such. I think the real meat and potatoes of this game, will come with the first expansion pack?
