    Make sure that they have a specific zone of their own.(thinks of Behemoth dominion from ffxi)

    New zones too!

    Mobs tend to loose importance and exclusivity when there's a mass of them around the world. (variable of design, size, color)
    If T-rex[es] will be a exclusive NM(or mob), give it character! Too many cut and paste type of monsters in the world.

    But technically it is an FF series monster, I can think of 4 games off the top of my head that's had T-Rex mobs in them (1, 6, 8, 12).
