Well.. Games are suppose to be fake, not real life action . even FFXIV 1.0 :P. ( not sure if i'm making sense but that just the way I see it). The only thing that's real is you visually seeing the game, and you inputting the commands to the character, nothing more than that.

Fake gold I was referring to the circular disk with gems sticking out of it for the aether camp. Its colored like it's gold.. but colored in such a way I think its fake gold. Its a weak yellow color.

I know what you are trying to say though :P.

Well I've seen the one from the special talk session, I like that aether crystal (its a different model though). And I did admit it could be washed video quality :P.

Or it may not be gold at all it could be a brass type that has less than 33% Zinc like Gilded Brass or a brass Manufactured with Calamine, it may not even be brass it could be nordic gold as well despite the name there is no gold used in it manufacturing.
