    Yoshi P explained it as part of his statement that our inventory will be reduced from 200 to 100.

    To offset this, when you place equipment into a gear set it is taken out of your main inventory and not counted towards your 100 item limit.

    But by doing it this way, it means that the actual item is physically moved into that gear set... not just being assigned for use when selecting that gear set.

    They said they're doing this for ease of understanding, but to me it seems to be doing the opposite.

    I frequently use the same equipment across multiple jobs, so this is going to make things pretty frustrating if left as is.

    It would make more sense to me if they just added more inventory space instead of getting rid of it, and instead let you drag and drop gear items out of your inventory to your gear tabs as many times as you like. But I'm assuming they have some reason for making inventory smaller, probably space issues or something.
