I wanted to start a discussion about how they could make ARC/BRD use its bow with infinite arrows and have it make sense within the game lore.
And to push the class to a better position giving it elemental/effect based arrows.
lol call them IST?![]()

ARCher [ARC]
ArCaNist? [ACN]
ArcaNisT? [ANT]
I don't see how it has to change to DoM.
A LOT of things are not shown and assumed to be happening. As long as we see a quiver on our back filled with arrows (for aesthetic), no problem.
Our characters can go forever without eating, drinking, using the restrooms, etc.
Does that mean we are magical beings or gods? No, it is simply assumed they do so when you blink.

LOL cash shop! SE's way to tell their player how they appreciate them... pull the carrot and empty your pockets $$$
And to those who support it: you are kicking yourselves. -- We just need to sit back and laugh at people with cash shop items.
(Marvelous economics IQ test!)
Which is being replaced with the ability to customize players' homes and create furniture as well. I somehow don't see CRP struggling in 2.0. That said, I don't see a need to explain a game mechanic through lore. There's no in game lore on why our armor and weapons vanish and reappear out of thin air, nor how it is our characters never have to eat or use the restrooms. No explanations or why mobs fade away after defeat, or why they magically spawn again without needing to reproduce first (despite there existing in game items suggesting they do.). It's a video game, not everything needs to be explained away, or adhere to strict logic.
I honestly don't see how lore comes into removal of arrows anywhere, and how having arrows as consumables now 'better' fits into the lore than not.
Can some 1 post a link to where it talks about arrows?
Not that I dont trust you, but maybe i missed some stuff aside from the arrows.
Agree'd being to strict and ocd about following lore is as bad as having non.
Having to take bathroom breaks and go into a room or animating getting changed would be well yeah... pft...
But when their is a option to create something and give it lore why not do so?
And it would also (imo at least) make the ARC/BRD class more individual and allow for some really nice effects to be added, So why would it not be better to do so?

ok, getting rid of arrows is stupid, first as Kerwin mentioned, it removes one of the major reasons people level carpenter to begin with, as well as removes one of it's best sources of income. Arrows are not that terribly, or cripplingly expensive, especially when people are undercutting to compete in the market wards. Looking at these arguments, there is no legitimately good reason to remove them, and "I don't like them" or "They are limited" are not good enough reasons.
What are you shooting from your bow? if its not arrows and where does that thing come from.
Were not losing lore atm, were losing something that seem logical, and I'm just putting an idea of how to give us some lore and create something new from the change.
I made a reply here to a specific comment, and my words were poorly chosen

So it's not lore that's the issue, it's realism.
Tell me, where on your character are you storing 100 plate mail chest pieces?
Maybe its going to be one of those things where arrows come with the bow free of charge? And its automatically assumed that we equip and use them, so there is really no point to even have an equip slot for them.
Its like asking "What are you shooting out of your bow?"
"Well arrows of course"
