WTF end of billing no legacy staus fml

Technically the deadline on the lodestone page is accurate and always has been. Between January and the start of 2.0 beta. It's just very unspecific which is confusing to us westerners who like the straight facts and minute details. But perhaps they couldn't give any information but that because they didn't know for certain when alpha/beta was going to start.

It deserves to be mentioned that since they do know the start at this time, the lodestone should have been updated already to say that this promotion is over.

Still, I feel that if it is important enough to people to have this legacy status now then it should have been important enough several months ago to keep up with game news on the lodestone, to check out information on the forums from SE community reps, and to not wait until the very last minute if they actually knew about the program from one of the two above means.

If you didn't do these things, it means you aren't supposed to have legacy status because you aren't a legacy player. Minus a few exceptions, of course, like Hardedge who lost out on legacy simply due to circumstance.

It really is just this simple.

Also I know you are trying to say its the players who stuck with SE. But the requirement to join is only 3 months. Of the 9 that it has approximately been available for.

So basically they are saying we only need you to be 1/3 a fan. So these people sneaking in under SE conditions are still a 1/3 a fan.

Its not like they are doing what was not intended.

I dont get people talking about "intention for only the good fans" If that was the case they would have said we need you to pay for 9 months straight.

That would have weeded a shit ton of people out.

They didn't steal anything, You had plenty of notice 6-9 months to get legacy, you didn't and waited till now to do it.. Dates or no dates you had "Alot" of time to achieve this goal, weather you thought the game sucked when they put the fees were turn on or not, you did have plenty of time to achieve this goal regardless, Its no different then buying a game off the PSN and then later you say this game sucks, you gunna say " Sony stole my money?"

You choose what you want to use your money on not SE or any other company out there. It's your choice weather or not you give them your money or not.

But SE did not steal your money or anyone else's for that matter.

As much as I hate the Legacy situation, you're 100% right. I (like Shougun) paid $70 for a game + extras. I got my game, I got my extras. I didn't pay for any period of gameplay (till I came back) and got a number of free months of play.

SE never guaranteed we'd be 100% satisfied with their game, no one does. I may not have gotten everything I wanted, but I got everything I paid for.

kept up with lodestone, read the posts, in August when they game seemed worth paying for, paid for it. Beta isn't here, still willing to pay, they don't want to charge. good for them in an effort to make $5 xtra from me, they'll possibly get nothing.

I keep checking the legacy page to see if they will change it during this thread - and pretend like it was always that way XD.

I saved a copy of the website just encase. I dont think SE would do that but I've seen worse lol

If i didn't have faith in the game I wouldn't have kept checking up on it. Your mistaking my unwillingness to pay for a bad product as a lack in faith that the product will get better.
