WTF end of billing no legacy staus fml

The way I look it is this, SE got $70 from me when the game launched by releasing a broken game, then another $31 because of we'll say lack of communication at best. Why am I going to give any more money to a company that in my opinion stole $100 from me

Well when you think about the 1.5yrs of free play, it isn't so bad. At the old rate of 12.99 (9.99 FFXIV and 3$ character) that would have been about 200 dollars spent (if you bothered actually paying for such a broken game, which not many would)

agreed and I did play for basically the entire time it was free. I just feel duped again over this whole legacy thing

That was really about the cut-off of the 90 day subscriptions. after Jun 30, there were only 30 day subs, but still by paying for 3 months separatly before the start of beta one would qualify for Legacy. If this is untrue and you absolutely needed to have gotten a 90 day subscription, then they should have changed that on the lodestone main page a long time ago.

Also, that was also not an update to the legacy page, but a news article that is already buried under other news articles. It was still a bad place to be placed.

I'd recommend annoying SE customer service and hoping some diligent representative here can carry a message that they (SE) screwed up.

Hope is not all lost until its finally closed - it would be sad if even into ARR they kept that legacy link up though lol.

If SE is going to be a global company it should act like one - communication like this shows infancy, it would be sad to think if the similar likes is happening for japan. Though I think because of their culture a lot of them would shut up and "take it" (is that a racist comment..? hope not lol)

They didn't steal anything, You had plenty of notice 6-9 months to get legacy, you didn't and waited till now to do it.. Dates or no dates you had "Alot" of time to achieve this goal, weather you thought the game sucked when they put the fees were turn on or not, you did have plenty of time to achieve this goal regardless, Its no different then buying a game off the PSN and then later you say this game sucks, you gunna say " Sony stole my money?"

You choose what you want to use your money on not SE or any other company out there. It's your choice weather or not you give them your money or not.

But SE did not steal your money or anyone else's for that matter.

I SMELL STARLORD MEAT!!!

SE never informed users of a timed deadline like "X months or days" its unacceptable for people to assume that any other deadline besides beta existed.

Also when you buy a shitty product - you feel cheated. SE has been mature about that and made the game free and apologized - this is excellent behavior. However they need to maintain maturity and honor their campaign which whether they like it or not was set to beta not set to months before beta.
