Anyone else miss sneak/invis?

I definitely do not miss carrying stacks of prism powder and sneak oils. I'll also pass on the complete randomness of the durations that these spells lasted. As someone stated, I am a little confused however about lvl 70+ mobs in odd areas here and there. Thankfully, the level 90+ Goblins (wtf, 90) do not agro ;D

I would prefer SE was more conscious of Mob Agro mechanics when placing them than having Sneak and Invis again. There should be more things like walking to avoid agro in this game. But yes, I do miss them.

I also believe that better designed areas should render this unnecessary. I prefer being able to sneak around without the need of an item or spell that trivializes it.

Unnecessary. FFXI is not the only game to ever implemented Agro avoidance spells.

Since everybody had it, it was kind of pointless to have in the game. I honestly like how you can't just sneak by all the enemies in a dungeon anymore, it makes it feel more like older FF games.

One thing that bugged the shit of me in XI is 90% of the time you just walked pass everything.

I'm having a heck of a time soloing Lasthold but I'm sure I will get it.

Go on Paladin if you see some enemies that look impossible to get past, use the 15 min invincible ability and pop a chocobo and run past them. You will find yourself waiting 15 min for cooldown but at least you can get the rest of the nodes you need.
