Random = Exclusionary = Not Fair = Pisses People Off = Lowers Sub Count

There has yet to be a single one of these events that did not piss off a Huge part of the community. People don't know they are happening unless they read the forums, and most people dont read the forums.

How is random exclusionary? By definition, it includes everyone who participates.

Random events are a lot harder to get a group of casual people to attend. There are a lot of people who play and don't have the time to sit around waiting for an event to spawn. That makes it very exclusionary. I think most people are fine with events having a long cooldown (24hrs+) as long as there is a way to track when the event will happen so they can gather people. Think FFXI HNM time of death system.

You don't need to camp. You just need someone to tell you when it's back up. Since it spawns on every server at the same time, and each time it pops, this thread is spammed with people saying it's back up, I doubt you'll have trouble finding out.

My new theory... It may be in a pattern where it will eventually have it going within each time slot. Based on that theory it may begin at 10am central, 6pm central, or 2am central.
