Gear Score, in my ARR?

As long as its just there to help people not lock people out of content I'm fine with it. Its when people start saying you have to have xxx gear to do content or join a LS, the latter is worse because it will ensure new players can't get the gear score needed to join a LS.

Gear has mattered and will always mattered to some LS's, some pickup parties, and some people. However, it won't change the opinion of others who don't care as much (particularly on easy pick up content like skirmish) I doubt gear score will make a significant impact on the community. With content finder, it's going to be easier to get parties with people to help you improve your gear, if you personally feel the need.

But people will do that regardless, gear score will just make it "easier" to see. People who are that type of player will still check your gear and tell you what they think, the fact that there is a score to look at or not is indifferent.
