Dammit, I've been found out!

I love how this game is turning out. Once it went p2p back in January, I paid for a membership even though I wasn't playing at the time -- it was purely to support the dev team. 5 months later, I came back to play, and it's night and day between release and now. And we have even more promising things on the horizon. Can't wait!!

What about jumping? It has nothing to do with the legitimacy of the video...and that's an awful analogy.
The thread was made praising the new trailer, Rokien said that he's reserving his praise on it because of what it shows. I personally love the trailer, but I also admit that it brings hardly anything new to the table as far as gameplay mechanics go. We saw small clips of 7 players running around on chocobos, and hitting a few monsters...none of which showed any UI overlay, so we're to assume the battle mechanics are the same as they are now. We know that isn't the case, but it's a misleading video. Rokien shouldn't be seen as a "buzzkill" just for stating that he didn't find the video to be incredible. Discussions generally have more than one opinion...and this one happened to be one of his more tame ones.
I want to stress this...I love the new trailer. The new La Noscea (I assume) looks gorgeous, and I can't wait to see it for myself...but this video is very misleading. It shows no actual gameplay, just "in-game footage." Everything we saw in it could be done in the current engine, minus the Limit Break demo at the end.
