In my scenario the Moogles stay as they are and run the mognet, and the genetically mutated Moogles by the Garleans would be made to be warriors.

Read my original post, for perspective... I.E. Garleans capture some Moogles, and genetically test and modify them, (like current lore kind of teases about what they do to the Al Mhigo people.) and the mutations cause the moogles to get bigger and make them unable to fly after all the tests. If I was the story writer to explain how they became a playable race that would be it. That they also want revenge on the Garleans for what they did to them, with their new imposed mutations. And the "villian" garlean ones that we could fight just went crazy or lost their memory/mind and are drones for the Garleans.

Yeah for some reason I don't think the devs rely on forum fan-fiction for their lore.
Sorry.
You never know, they do read all the forums, and discuss things, if it is a popular enough topic. Like they did with so many ideas we offered them with wanting to change. I am not expecting them to use my idea, I am just pointing out it is possible for current lore to explain why they can become a playable race in the future.

Moogles, a race of floating, ethereal creatures connected to the twelveswood and who have their own language that only certain people can understand, provide a link between the four races and the often living environment of places like the Black Shroud. You never know, they do read all the forums, and discuss things, if it is a popular enough topic. Now lets forget all that and add SCIENCE!
That's not explaining with lore, that's throwing it away.
Really then how do you explain the Garlean Empire? which was mentioned in my scenario. They use "science and engineering" unlike any of the nations and they experiment on their conquered citizenships. So whats to stop them from capturing some moogles and experimenting on them like they do the other 4 races, and they some how end up mutating them?Moogles, a race of floating, ethereal creatures connected to the twelveswood and who have their own language that only certain people can understand, provide a link between the four races and the often living environment of places like the Black Shroud.

Capturing "some" does not a playable race make. You do not explain the purpose for this. This makes the whole thing sound like it's pulled out of thin air, and not the stuff of good storytelling.Really then how do you explain the Garlean Empire? which was mentioned in my scenario. An example. The miqote of Ala Mihgo are cat girls, but then GARLEAN SCIENCE! They lost their tails in 2.0! And now fight the garleans!
Sahagin were a bunch of ornery seadogs, now playable because GARLEAN SCIENCE! Changed their colors! Now stalwart defenders of Limsa Lominsa's seas!
Behemoths not ridable? The GARLEAN SCIENCE came from the north... now with poodle tails. Behemoths can now take their fight to the Empire!

You didn't actually read anything I said did you.... also your forgetting some rather important facts about 2.0... They are 1. Rewriting a lot of the lore, moogles might be one of them, and 2. We are going to be at the end of the 7th umbral era, in the future, an unannounced amount of time has passed since we were sent away. Many things can happen. Maybe we were away for 100 years, and the Garleans enslaved these captured moogles and force breed them over 100 years to the extent of a mass population of them.Capturing "some" does not a playable race make. All I was doing was hypothesising a way they can make it fit into the story for us current players on how they could possibly introduce Moogles as a race, of course I am not saying it is fact. I am just saying how it could happen. Also in all honest I think at least 100 or more years have passed since the meteor even that will happen to us at the end of 1.0 to 2.0 because you can see the destroyed old big trees scattered around and uprooted, but there are younger newer trees growing which would take sometime after a hellfire from the skys burn them down.
Again we won't know till either the info is released.... or 2.0 is released. I am just wanting to express my favor for a Moogle PC race and how from the lore I picked up in the game how it could occur, with the info given to us.
