You're not only getting higher base damage, higher DPS, but also accuracy from the deal and if you have the gear bonus you'll have only five less attack then the Ifrit Claws. Essentially the Lieutenant Claws is better overall then the Ifrit Claws as their are many more benefits to using them in comparison to just using the Ifrit Claws.
