Returning player, didn't get 99 leves

Hi, came back and was told I should have 99 leves... I did not.

Would be sweet since I came back to a ghost town and not playing with friends, literally solo. Leves make the leveling process much simpler. I was a beta tester and got the collectors edition at launch, doesn't hurt to ask for what most people are offered

If you quit before the patch that give people the limit of 99 then your char wont get 99 leve. Now you have to do the leve you got and every day you get more and more leve and the limit would be 99.

I see, so I am faulted for not having been around for the patch? I'd think that would be a great returning gesture for anyone. At this rate, this grind alone is going to burn me out again, at least I'd keep busy doing leves and get decent EXp solo doing them. There an admin that could comment on this? After seeing what others get that's kind of a deal breaker really.

Edit: All I am getting at is 4 per 12 hours... for a returning player, low level (where low levels don't exist anymore (wonder why)) won't keep them around very long, if at all. Tis' hard coming back to sitting in town looking for a group, can't find one, wasted a couple hours. Returned to the game to see if it got any better, seems like it has big time (the delay when going into and out of passive mode was terrible!) and I'd like to play, but I am at a stand still here. Every 12 hours I get 30 minutes worth of content to enjoy...

Pretty bad time to return imho. Right now there is very little content from 25-45, which makes these the most boring levels in the game. EXP parties are very boring and most of them give EXP rates the same as solo leves. The game is pretty lame until you hit 45-50, which gives you access to many endgame fights and missions

Best advice i can give is to work on the story missions + grand company missions when not doing leves. these will give some enjoyment + some XP.

Hopefully 2.0 will give enough content besides leves to make these levels better. Im thinking along the lines of a level 30 and a level 40 dungeon. This paired with a level limited content finder should make it alot more fun

Great 2.0 launch content for new players should be
Lv1-10 solo - quests/leves
11-20 - dungeon mob level 17-21 (2 - including shposhae), quests/leves
21-30 - dungeon mob level 27-31 (2 - including toto-rak), quests/leves
31-40 - dungeon mob level 37-42 (2 - new), quests/leves
41-50 - dungeons mob level 49-55 (3 - including Darkhold), primals, etc

With 1.0 limit coding and servers sadly that what happen they can't just give you the 99 leves you was not here for the patch to get access to the 99 leves by doing all your leves you had on you.

Powerlevel is the way to go you can get 40 within 1day if i was in your world i would have powerlevel you to 40 without issue so you could get 50 in stronghold with a party.

Hah, thanks Zen. Yeah I ask around to pay for PL's and such. Typical responses are "If you'd go kill random things you'd level by now" - Sorry folks, 100 exp a kill isn't a gold mine, and I don't play FFXIV to farm Dodo's for hours a day. OR, "I can farm 1 mil in 40 minutes" so I can imagine what kind of rates they're gonna want per hour. Only got 800k from when I quit lol.

Bummer, yeah if I can't make any progress in another day or two i'm gonna end up leaving again. Thanks for all the responses guys.

will you return in 1.0 version where there noting for low levels best is to make party and stuff i can get 20-40 in a party in about 1-2days of partying for a few hours. in 2.0 you level up by quest and it be like wow where onces you done it lead you to other area so you could easy just wait for 2.0 or find yourself a powerlevel so at least you have 1 level 50.

but best bet is finding a linkshell and making friends and get a powerlevel or wait for 2.0.

Thank you very much for posting your concerns over the amount of Leves you had accrued since returning to the game. And it appears that the answer for your issue has been provided by some of the other posters (thank you Zenaku). Sadly we cannot grant you Leves, as they would have to be accrued through the method that was mentioned in previous posts.
