    Fast Exp system + double the speed of fast exp + skyrocketing past all content and going straight to the end-game content that we know won't all be there at release and come in chunks through updates = ???

    You do realize double+ exp events are generally for slower MMOs, right? You can level 1-50 in 1.0 in days, even sooner if you happen to land in a good linkshell and someone agrees to power level you, which is quite common btw.

    Nope didn't ignore the first line you said you don't see why it would be game breaking. Blowing past everything is exactly why even 1.0's setup is horribly done. Why should I bother with low-mid level gear or content when I'll be end-game no time flat? 2.0's leveling won't be slower, they already confirmed it will be basically the same speed.

    I understand the fear of having no content @ 50... that would be a bigger problem then leveling too quickly.

    Maybe it's just me but when you have the opportunity to level multiple jobs, the game need to be enjoyable enough to justify that replay value.

    The reason why easier MMO's are so popular isn't because they're easy to get into... they're hard to put down.

    I think he meant (with his first line) that the concept of the event in general wouldn't necessarily be game breaking, in that we could have different types of events like...2x mobs or something, not that 2x exp weekends wouldn't be game breaking.

    I think I should point out that by that interview, Yoshida means it would take about 30 hours to get to around level 15, not 50. so yeah, levelling is gonna be slower in 2.0
